The Granary Bedroom - Newly Refurbished!
The Granary is a large, spacious bedroom at the top of the main staircase. This room was once the original bakery granary where the grains would have been stored in the rafters. It has a high peaked ceiling giving the room a lovely light and airy atmosphere. The east facing windows look out to the rear of the property, over the glorious garden and beyond, with distant views of the rolling Waveney Valley countryside. To the south, a further window in the gable end looks out towards St Mary Magdalene church.
This luxurious yet contemporary room has been completely refurbished in May 2008 to ensure that visitors have bags of space to relax in. Solid oak furniture and a comfortable sofa that can pull out as an extra bed when required, work together to complete the fresh new look, along with a well equipped hospitality tray, flat screen television with digital channels, hair dryer and DAB radio alarm.
The beautifully reappointed en-suite shower room has fluffy towels, bathrobes and complimentary 'Health & Spa' toiletries.
This flexible room can be made up as a super-king, a twin or a family room, so do ask us for options when you call.
If you're away on business or maybe finally getting down to research that novel they say is 'in everyone', we offer free WiFi internet access. If you simply need to check your e-mail you are most welcome to use our PC.
