In the coming months we will be offering craft retreats and literary weekends at Old Bakery. As the weather turns cooler there is no need to stay at home. Our comfortable lounge is a haven in the colder months with the fire lit making it the perfect place to snuggle up with a book or some knitting. So why not embrace the gentle art of Hygge , make yourself at home, and enjoy the simple things in life, such as a good book or a conversation over some knitting, whilst in fellowship with friends, both new and old. A typical retreat / literary weekend will include afternoon tea on arrival, a simple welcome supper, a day of reading or crafting after breakfast the following day, lunch, morning and afternoon tea, and dinner at our village pub, followed by a good nights sleep and another leisurely breakfast before saying goodbye to new friends.
Alternatively, if you are a member of a WI, a book club, or a craft club and are looking for something different to do as a small group why not contact Theresa either on 01379 676 492 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss creating your own personally tailored retreat.
